The opportunity
Lead the response from call-out to close-out.
We are looking for a hands-on supervisor to coordinate reactive maintenance across Bloc FM's London portfolio. You will support operatives in the field, inspect more complex defects and make sure jobs progress safely, clearly and on time.
The role needs practical building knowledge, calm decision-making and the confidence to speak with property managers, residents, suppliers and subcontractors.
What you'll do
- Triage reactive jobs, allocate suitable resources and monitor progress to completion.
- Attend sites to inspect defects, define scopes and support operatives with technical decisions.
- Check quality, photographs, notes, materials and follow-on recommendations before close-out.
- Coordinate access, residents, managing agents, suppliers and specialist trades.
- Promote safe working, review RAMS requirements and escalate higher-risk activities.
- Support quotations, client updates, team planning and service-performance reviews.
What we're looking for
- Broad property-maintenance or construction experience with supervisory responsibility.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout London.
- Strong defect diagnosis, organisation and job-planning skills.
- Professional client communication and the ability to handle pressure calmly.
- Confident use of mobile job-management systems, email and digital reporting.
- Relevant health and safety training; SSSTS or equivalent is advantageous.
