Bloc FM is seeking an experienced multi-skilled operative for planned and reactive repairs across managed residential and commercial properties. You will handle a broad range of tasks, diagnose defects and complete quality repairs with minimal supervision.
This is suited to an established multi-trade professional who can plan materials, communicate confidently and recognise when a specialist contractor is required.
What you'll do
- Complete carpentry, patch plastering, decorating, sealant, ironmongery and minor plumbing repairs.
- Investigate defects and provide clear findings, photographs and recommendations.
- Plan tools and materials before attendance and manage small works efficiently.
- Carry out repairs in occupied buildings with careful protection and tidy working.
- Support estimates by recording dimensions, specifications and follow-on requirements.
- Work in accordance with RAMS, site rules and Bloc FM quality standards.
What we're looking for
- Strong practical experience across several building-maintenance trades.
- A full UK driving licence, suitable vehicle and comprehensive core tool kit.
- Ability to diagnose faults and deliver a neat, durable finish.
- Confident written and verbal communication with clients and residents.
- Smartphone competence for job management, photographs and completion reports.
- UTR, public liability insurance and evidence of relevant trade competency.
