Bloc FM is looking for a capable and dependable mobile maintenance operative to support residential blocks and commercial properties across London. You will attend planned and reactive jobs, assess what is needed, complete work safely and leave every site presentable.
This suits someone who can work independently, communicate clearly with residents and property managers, and take ownership from arrival through to the final job report.
What you'll do
- Complete general property repairs, minor carpentry, decorating and basic plumbing tasks.
- Attend reactive call-outs and planned maintenance visits across London.
- Diagnose straightforward defects and explain when a specialist trade is required.
- Record clear before-and-after photographs and accurate completion notes.
- Work respectfully in occupied residential blocks and commercial buildings.
- Keep tools, materials and work areas safe, tidy and organised.
What we're looking for
- Practical multi-trade or property maintenance experience.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
- Your own core tools and appropriate workwear.
- Confident use of a smartphone for job details, photographs and reports.
- Professional communication, good timekeeping and a problem-solving attitude.
- For subcontractors: UTR, public liability insurance and evidence of competency.
